The School Day
8.45a.m – 3.15p.m
In a morning, pupils may be dropped off at the school playground from 8.30a.m onwards, where a member of staff will be on duty. A whistle is blown at 8.45a.m when it is time for registration. At the end of the school day, pupils are dismissed from class at 3.15p.m and can be collected from either the playground or the parent/pupil entrance (off New Hill).
Uniform
The new uniform (inc. P.E kit) is available all year round from Mrs. Booth in the school office. Price lists & order forms can be picked up or sent home on request. Please could all uniform have children’s names written in as this ensures that any clothing left around school is returned to the correct owner. For any new starters or parents unsure of correct uniform, the guidelines are as follows:
- Plain white shirt / blouse / polo-shirt
- Navy blue jumper / sweatshirt / cardigan
- Dark grey or black trousers / skirts / shorts (summer term only)
- White, black or grey socks
- Black indoor shoes (plus outdoor shoes for journey to school, breaktimes etc.)
- P.E Kit – Plain white t-shirt and dark blue or black shorts, with plimsolls or trainers.
Please note that we are phasing out the previous option of pale blue shirts & polos. These can often be difficult to find and are generally more expensive to buy for parents than the white. Can we also ask that all skirts & shorts are of a reasonable length i.e. just above the knee. Thank you.
